World’s Best Brownies

These fudgy brownies ooze with chocolate chips and melt in your mouth with every bite. They’re the perfect sweet tooth satisfier, and you would never guess they are gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar–free, and the ingredients even include celery pulp!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups celery pulp
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1/2–1 cup chocolate chips (dairy-free/no sugar added, if desired)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix first six ingredients together until combined well.
  2. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. While dough is chilling, preheat oven to 350°F.
  4. Add egg and baking soda to chilled dough, and mix well.
  5. Pour into a greased 8.5″ x 8.5″ baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
