A Splash of Sunshine Smoothie

This refreshing smoothie is the perfect way to enjoy the summer season all year round! It’s packed with plant proteins, omegas, and healthy fat to keep you satisfied. You won’t compromise great taste with these earthy, subtle, and sweet ingredients that are also high in antioxidants. In less than five minutes, you’ll have a great meal replacement for mornings on the go or post-workout fuel.

INGREDIENTS
Serves 6

  • 1-1/2 cups ice
  • 3-1/2 Medjool dates (pitted and soaked in filtered water)
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped frozen pineapple
  • 1 frozen banana, peeled
  • 2-1/2 cups organic almond milk (or coconut water if preferred)
  • 1 scooped avocado
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • handful coconut flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add ice, dates, and kale to blender first.
  2. Add pineapple, bananas, and remaining ingredients.
  3. Blend on high until desired consistency and serve with love!
