This recipe combines my love for this upcoming season, superfoods and smoothies! Honeycrisp season has always been a time when I know fall is right around the corner. I created this smooothie to honor falling leaves, cozy sweaters and my favorite apple. As a mom, I know that smoothies are a great way to sneak healthy foods and superfoods into my little one’s diet. I added my three favorite (and undetectable) superfoods into this smoothie: coconut oil, flax meal and chia seeds. These three amigos are invisible, tasteless and totally undetectable by even the most discerning tongue. I sneak these into our kid’s smoothies daily and they have no idea that I am giving them a digestive & brain boost that are partnered with fiber, calcium, iron and essential fatty acids. This smoothie is delicious, will make you feel good and keep you feeling good for hours!
