Seaweed Breakfast Wraps

I’ve always been a huge breakfast person. 9 times out of 10, I wake up, meditate for a few minutes, then make breakfast right away. It gets my metabolism buzzing and keeps me focused and energized all day.

The breakfast I’m sharing with you today is a powerhouse for metabolic function, rich in iodine from the seaweed, protein and choline (key for focus) from the eggs, and bursting with healthy essential fats from the avocado and probiotics from the sauerkraut.

One of the primary causes of anxiety, depression, and frustration is low metabolism due to excess consumption of processed food, caffeine, sugar, and alcohol.

When you’re low on key nutrients like iodine, protein, and essential fats, your pituitary gland is compromised and you process food less effectively, leading to chronic fatigue, weight gain, skin problems, lethargy, and more.

Your pituitary gland controls metabolism, mood, and all other organ functions, and it’s either weakened by toxins or fueled by nutrients each time you eat, starting with breakfast – the most important meal of the day.

Seaweed Breakfast Wraps

This is a simple recipe that will boost your metabolism.

Serves 1

Prep time: 7 minutes

Cook time: 5 minutes


1 large sheet nori seaweed, perforated and torn into four pieces

2 organic farm eggs

Grass-fed butter or coconut oil, for scrambling

½ avocado

Raw, fermented sauerkraut




Fold seaweed in fours and tear along the lines to create smaller pieces.

Halve and score avocado and scoop it out. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bring butter or coconut oil to medium-low heat in pan.

Crack eggs in bowl and add salt and pepper. Beat vigorously.

Pour eggs into pan and let them slightly set for 30-60 seconds. Gently scramble with spatula until cooked to your liking.

Keep the heat medium-low to avoid overcooking Transfer to plate.

Assemble seaweed wraps by adding a small amount of scramble eggs in the middle of each piece of nori, then topping with avocado and sauerkraut.

Roll up and enjoy!

  1. The pituitary simply releases while the hypothalamus controls, never the less my granmom lived on chicken fat, chicken livers and lots of cream to the age of 99 without any serious dementia. Please explain

  2. Thank you for this simple twist on breakfast wraps. The nori seaweed was very easy to use and becomes quite pliable, yet strong when warmed by the egg. Being gluten-free and whole food based, I am always looking for ways to reinvent some of my old favorites. I also stay on the look-out for more ways to incorporate more seaweed into my diet. This recipe kills 2 birds with 1 stone. I tried a very similar variation this week (used some tomato sauce inside & a fried egg instead of scrambled) and loved it!
